Questions people ask
How does the free plan work?
The free plan gives you 5 monitors checked every 60 seconds, with no credit card. We run one of them on our servers at a time, and the Pokemon Center queue alert does not count towards that. Any others run in your own browser through the extension, or through your own proxies. It covers Shopify and WooCommerce shops, the point-and-click visual selector, custom CSS selectors, and a monitor for any other shop, which takes any link you paste. Free also gets Discord alerts and 30 emails a month.
Does it work for Pokemon Center?
Yes. The Pokemon Center queue alert tells you the moment the queue goes up, usually minutes before stock does. It covers the UK and US stores and it is on every plan, including Free.
What websites can StockWatch monitor?
StockWatch has 43 monitor types. Some read a whole platform, like Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento, and some read one retailer, such as Waterstones, eBay and Lush. For any other website you can pick the part of the page to watch, or use custom CSS selectors.
How fast does StockWatch detect changes?
It depends on your plan. Power User checks as often as every 5 seconds, Standard every 15 seconds, and Free every 60 seconds. We send the alert as soon as a check finds a change. The 60-second check on Free is deliberate: it is still often enough to catch a drop that only lasts a few minutes.
How do the alerts reach me?
As a push notification on your phone, by email, by Discord webhook or through the browser extension. Email is on every plan, including Free: 30 emails a month on Free, 300 on Standard and 1,500 on Power User. You can add more than one webhook and email address. Keyword rules, which send matching alerts to their own webhook or address, come with the Standard and Power User plans.
Can I share monitors with my team?
Yes. Teams come with the Power User plan, with 3 seats included. You invite people, give each of them a role and share your monitors with them.
What happens if I downgrade my plan?
Nothing is deleted. Your monitors stay, but the new plan only runs so many of them on our servers, so any past that number are held until you make room or upgrade again. You also can't add new monitors past the new plan's limit.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
