Pokemon 30th Anniversary UK: Wave 2 Out Now, Restocks

Wave 2, the Booster Bundle and Mini Tins, came out on 2 October. On 6 October Argos still had both in its app, and The Entertainer had taken both off its Pokemon page. Battle Decks follow on 30 October.

Wave 2 came out on Friday 2 October 2026: the Booster Bundle (£24.99 RRP) and the Mini Tins (£12.99 RRP a tin), according to Asmodee UK, the UK distributor. On the evening of Tuesday 6 October, four days after release, none of the shops we checked sold either on its website. The Entertainer has taken both off its Pokemon page, which now lists only the Espeon ex Battle Deck for 30 October. Argos lists the Booster Bundle at £25.00 and ten Mini Tins at £13.00 each, to buy in its app. Smyths had both at RRP in store only when we last read its pages on 5 October, with the warning "Limited stock. Purchase limits apply". Those pages show stock one store at a time, so pick your store there before you travel. At Pokemon Center UK the TCG listing shows both wave 2 products as Sold Out, and its ship dates page still says pre-orders ship in early October. No shop has published a restock date. 30th Celebration, the Pokemon 30th anniversary set, came out in the UK on Wednesday 16 September 2026. Going by Smyths' listings, the Espeon ex and Umbreon ex Battle Decks are next on 30 October, then the Ditto Premium Collection, the Ultra-Premium Collection (Day and Night editions) and the Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections on 6 November.

Pokemon Center UK now expects to ship its exclusive Elite Trainer Box in mid to late November. It will not say whether anything from the set will be restocked. The top chase cards are two Futuristic Rares, Mewtwo ex and Mew ex, plus three RGB Mew secret rares that Pokemon has not acknowledged. The regular Elite Trainer Box is £49.99 at RRP.

30th Celebration updates

  • 6 October 2026, evening. The Entertainer has taken the Booster Bundle and the Mini Tins off its Pokemon page. At lunchtime today it still listed both as one per customer, with the stores getting stock. Tonight the only 30th Celebration product on it is the Espeon ex Battle Deck, "Released: October 30th" and "Limited to 1 Per Customer". The page does not say whether any store still has wave 2 on the shelf. Nothing else moved. Argos lists the same 20 products, with the Booster Bundle at £25.00 and each Mini Tin at £13.00, all Buy on the app. Pokemon Center UK's TCG listing shows both wave 2 products as Sold Out, and its ship dates page still gives "Early October 2026". We last read Smyths' pages on 5 October, when both were in store only. No shop has published a restock date.
  • 5 October 2026, lunchtime. Three days on, and the shops' own pages did not move over the weekend. Smyths' Booster Bundle and Mini Tins pages still say "Limited stock. Purchase limits apply" and the delivery option is greyed out, so both are in store only, at £24.99 and £12.99. Argos lists the same 20 products, with the Booster Bundle at £25.00 and each Mini Tin at £13.00, all Buy on the app. The Entertainer's page still says one per customer, in the stores it lists. Pokemon Center UK's Booster Bundle page says Unavailable, with a limit of 3, and its ship dates page still gives "Early October 2026" for both wave 2 products. No shop has published a restock date.
  • 4 October 2026, evening. Two days after release, nothing has moved on the shops' own pages. Smyths still has the Booster Bundle at £24.99 and the Mini Tins at £12.99 in store only, with "Limited stock. Purchase limits apply" and no delivery option. Its product pages show stock one store at a time, so pick your store on the page before you travel. Argos lists the same 20 30th Celebration products, all Buy on the app. The Entertainer's page is the same: one per customer, listed stores only, with the Espeon ex Battle Deck next on 30 October. Pokemon Center UK's Booster Bundle page still says Unavailable, and its estimated ship dates page, updated this month, still gives "Early October 2026" for the Booster Bundle and Mini Tins and "Mid to late November 2026" for its Elite Trainer Box. No shop has published a restock date.
  • 3 October 2026, morning. A day after release, the shops' own pages say what they said on Friday. Smyths' Booster Bundle is £24.99, in store only, "Limited stock. Purchase limits apply". Argos lists the same 20 30th Celebration products, wave 2 included, and every one is Buy on the app. The Entertainer's Pokemon page hasn't changed. Pokemon Center UK's Booster Bundle page still says Unavailable and "early October 2026", and its TCG listing shows the Booster Bundle and the 10-pack of Mini Tins as Sold Out. Nobody, shop or Pokemon, has said anything about a restock.
  • 2 October 2026, morning. Wave 2 is out. Smyths' Booster Bundle and Mini Tin pages both say "Available to purchase in-store" and "Limited stock. Purchase limits apply", at £24.99 and £12.99, with no delivery option. Argos lists the Booster Bundle at £25.00 and ten Mini Tins at £13.00 each (Pikachu, Mew, Mewtwo, Espeon and Umbreon among them), all with a Buy on the app button. The Entertainer's Pokemon page hasn't changed: one per customer, listed stores only. At Pokemon Center UK the Booster Bundle and the 10-pack of Mini Tins both say Unavailable, with limits of 3 and 1, and are still expected to ship in early October.
  • 1 October 2026. The Entertainer's Pokemon page now lists wave 2: the Booster Bundle and the Mini Tins are "Released: October 2nd" and "Limited to 1 Per Customer", and "Only stores listed will receive limited stock". It names 78 shops for the Booster Bundle and 154 for the Mini Tins, and adds that it cannot guarantee a store will have stock when you arrive. The same page lists the Espeon ex Battle Deck for 30 October, also one per customer. Pokemon Center UK's estimated ship dates page still says "Early October 2026" for both wave 2 products. Argos still lists neither. Pokemon Center UK has also listed its first Delta Reign pre-orders.
  • 28 September 2026. Wave 2 is on Friday 2 October. Asmodee UK dates both the Booster Bundle and the Mini Tins 2 October, and Pokemon Center UK's estimated ship dates, updated on 23 September, say "Early October 2026" for both. Where can you buy 30th Celebration wave 2 now?

Here is what each shop's own page said on the evening of 6 October, four days after release. The Smyths row is from 5 October. Where a shop has published nothing, the table says so rather than guessing.

What is still to come from 30th Celebration in the UK?

Six more products, and each one now has a UK date. The UK and the US do not always get the same products. Every date in the table comes from a UK shop's own listing, not from Pokemon's US announcements. Smyths Toys lists all six with an "Expected in stock" date, and those dates match Pokemon's US showcase to the day. Asmodee, the UK distributor, gives the Mini Tins the same 2 October date at £12.99 RRP a tin.

Where is the 30th Celebration Knock Out Collection?

In the supermarkets and convenience shops. The Knock Out Collection turned up in Tesco Express, One Stop and Morrisons on 18 September. It holds two 30th Celebration booster packs, a foil Eevee promo card and a coin, according to PokeBeach, which is exactly what is in the 2-Pack Blister. So if you are after that Eevee promo, the Knock Out Collection is the way to get it now. Smyths expects its 2-Pack Blister on 2 October, The Entertainer still lists its own as "Delayed", and Pokemon Center UK has moved its version to mid to late November. None of the UK websites we checked on 18 September listed a Knock Out Collection, Smyths, Asmodee and Pokemon Center UK among them. For now it is one to look for in the shop.

The Tech Sticker Collection is the one to watch for mixed messages. Asmodee still gives it a release date of 16 September and shows it as a pre-order. Pokemon's UK showcase now says November, and The Entertainer listed it as "Delayed" on launch day. Pokemon Center UK moved its own to mid to late November, along with its exclusive Elite Trainer Box. What the Pokemon Center delay means for your order covers that email and what to do with a preorder.

Will 30th Celebration be restocked?

Nobody official will say. Pokemon Center's 30th Celebration FAQ answered the question like this when we read it on 18 September:

We are not able to share whether 30th Celebration products will be restocked or when they will be restocked.
Pokemon Center Support, 30th Celebration TCG FAQ

The shops do not publish restock dates either, so the only way to catch a restock is to be watching when it happens. What you can plan around is the new stock in the table above, which has a month attached. The Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box also has a ship date for anyone holding a preorder. If more of that box does go on sale, expect the same virtual queue as launch day: exclusive Elite Trainer Boxes tend to sell out fast.

Can you buy 30th Celebration at Argos?

Yes, but only in the Argos app. Argos said in May 2026 that no Pokemon cards would be sold in its stores any more, as NationalWorld reported. On 5 October Argos's site listed 20 30th Celebration products, the Booster Bundle and ten Mini Tins among them, and every one said Buy on the app. Our Argos Pokemon cards guide explains what that button means and how to hear about a drop there.

Is 30th Celebration the Pokemon 30th anniversary set?

Yes. 30th Celebration is Pokemon's own name for it, and its UK showcase opens by saying the Pokemon TCG "is celebrating 30 years" with this expansion. When The Pokemon Company announced the set on 1 June, it called it the first expansion "to debut with a simultaneously coordinated global launch". That is why the UK got it on the same day as everyone else. The RGB Mew cards are a nod to the anniversary too: the colours stand for Pokemon Red, Green and Blue, the original games.

What is in a 30th Celebration booster pack?

Five foil cards, one foil Basic Energy and a code card for Pokemon TCG Live, according to Pokemon's June release. Every card in the set is foil. One of the five is always a Pikachu rare, from a run of 30 different Pikachu cards, each drawn by a different artist. The Basic Energy in each pack is YOSHIROTTEN's design too, so it matches the Futuristic Rares.

You cannot officially buy loose packs. As PokeBeach's English set guide points out, this is a special set, so its packs only come inside boxes, tins and collections. There is no booster box in the English lineup Pokemon has published.

What are the 30th Celebration chase cards?

Pokemon does not publish pull rates. The card flip on its 30th Celebration expansion page even carries a note saying it does not reflect odds or pull rates. Until someone publishes pull rates, rarity is the fairest way to rank the chase cards. The table uses the English set list compiled on Bulbapedia), read on 15 September 2026. Fans edit Bulbapedia, so treat the numbering as a guide.

Futuristic RareMewtwo ex, Mew ex157/128 and 158/128
Special Illustration RareFuecoco ex, Greninja ex, Pikachu ex (two versions), Sylveon ex, Jirachi ex, Salamence ex147 to 156
Illustration Rare17 cards, including Moltres, Articuno, Zapdos, Lapras, Gholdengo and Maushold129 to 146
RGB secret rare (unofficial)Mew in red, green and blueR/RGB, G/RGB, B/RGB

Four numbers in that run, 143, 151, 152 and 154, still had no card on the list on 15 September. That fits PokeBeach's note that a few secret rares were yet to be revealed, so the Special Illustration Rare line-up above is not complete.

What is a Futuristic Rare?

It is the rarity Pokemon created for this set. The June release says each Futuristic Rare shows Pokemon in artwork "evocative of hope toward an unknown future", illustrated by the Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN. Bulbapedia describes the look as vivid colours and lighting, with 3D-style Energy symbols and Poke Balls in the artwork. Only two cards in the English set have it: Mewtwo ex and Mew ex.

Are the RGB Mew cards real?

Yes, although officially they do not exist yet. On 12 September PokeBeach reported that several fans had pulled three secret rare Mew cards: one red, one green and one blue, all by YOSHIROTTEN and numbered out of "RGB" rather than out of 128. The colours stand for the original Pokemon Red, Green and Blue games. PokeBeach's photos include French and Japanese copies as well.

Pokemon has not mentioned them. They are not on the official card list, and PokeBeach says they are not in the card list booklet that comes in the Elite Trainer Box either. On 15 September PokeBeach added that the three cards had turned up in an internal update to Pokemon TCG Live. Its explanation for the silence is that Pokemon Japan does not reveal every secret rare until the next set comes out, so it could be months before they are acknowledged.

Nobody knows the pull rate. PokeBeach expects them to be "exceptionally rare", but that is its estimate, and no figure has come from Pokemon. Be wary of any odds you see quoted for them.

They first leaked about two months before launch, when streamers opened product early. PokeBeach says that stock reportedly came from an unauthorised source in the distribution chain and may have been stolen. It adds that eBay removed leaked 30th Celebration cards under its stolen property policy after a notice from The Pokemon Company.

What is the Classic Collection?

Thirty cards from the game's past, back with a new foil treatment. Pokemon's expansion page names Charizard from Base Set and Pikachu & Zekrom-GX from Team Up, and Bulbapedia notes a gold border on all 30. They turn up in normal packs. The Ultra-Premium Collection also comes with a Classic Collection pack of three. You cannot play them in the Standard format, though.

Which 30th Celebration products are out in the UK, and at what price?

The prices below are recommended retail prices from Asmodee, the UK distributor, read from its product pages on 15 September 2026 (the Elite Trainer Box page is one). The launch column is from The Entertainer's Pokemon page, read the same day, because it publishes a date against each product.

Contents are from Pokemon's product showcase and PokeBeach's guide. The Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box sits outside that table: 11 packs and two Nidorina promos, one with the Pokemon Center logo, and it is only sold by Pokemon Center, so there is no distributor RRP for it. Pokemon Center UK now expects to ship it in mid to late November 2026, so if you preordered one, read what the Pokemon Center delay means for your order. Our 30th Celebration set page keeps the UK RRPs alongside live stock.

How do you get the October and November products at RRP?

  1. Set your alerts as soon as a product is listed

Shops do not say when stock will land (Pokemon Center says outright that it cannot), so an alert set on the morning can already be too late. Put a monitor on each shop's Booster Bundle or Mini Tins page the day it appears, and add the Drop Watchdog if you are going for Pokemon Center, so you know when the queue goes up.

  2. Know each shop's limit before you check out

At launch The Entertainer allowed one item each from Group A (Elite Trainer Box or Binder Collection), Group B (ex Box, ex Tin or Poster Collection) and Group C (Tech Sticker Collection or 2-Pack Blister). Pokemon Center shows its limit on each product page: 3 for the Booster Bundle and 1 for the 10-pack of Mini Tins when we read them on 18 September. Pokemon card purchase limits in the UK has every shop's current limit in one place.

  3. Keep the Pokemon Center queue window open

Pokemon Center's FAQ says to keep the window open to hold your place and not to refresh. When it is your turn, you are sent to the site automatically.

  4. Type your checkout details in by hand

The same FAQ says autofill can cause issues, and advises logging in rather than checking out as a guest and not mixing a preorder with other items in one basket.

  5. Do not pay well over RRP

More 30th Celebration products are due in October and November, so missing one drop is not the end of the set. The RRPs above are what the distributor set, and anything well over them is a seller's price rather than the going rate.

How do you get an alert when 30th Celebration is back in stock?

A StockWatch monitor on a UK shop's 30th Celebration product page sends a restock alert when it can be bought, by email, browser push or Discord. For Pokemon Center, the Drop Watchdog sends an alert when the queue goes live and again when it clears, and our queue status page shows the same thing to anyone. The watchdog is on every plan, including Free, and its help page covers the setup. Argos sells the cards in its app only, and the Argos monitor, on the Standard and Power User plans, watches for them there. If you do not know yet whether the Elite Trainer Box is worth it, our ETB price guide puts £49.99 in context.

More on buying Pokemon cards in the UK

When did 30th Celebration come out in the UK?

Wednesday 16 September 2026, the same day as every other participating market. Wave 2, the Booster Bundle and Mini Tins, followed on 2 October. Going by Smyths' listings, the Battle Decks are due on 30 October, and the Ditto Premium Collection, the Ultra-Premium Collection and the Mew and Mewtwo Figure Collections on 6 November.

When is the 30th Celebration Booster Bundle out in the UK?

It came out on 2 October 2026. Argos sells it in its app at £25.00, and Smyths had it in store at £24.99 with purchase limits on 5 October. The Entertainer sold it one per customer in listed stores, but had taken it off its Pokemon page by 6 October. Pokemon Center UK sells it at £25.99 with a limit of 3, and its listing showed it as Sold Out on 6 October.

When are the 30th Celebration Mini Tins out in the UK?

2 October 2026, at £12.99 RRP a tin according to Asmodee, the UK distributor. Smyths had them in store at £12.99 on 5 October, and Argos lists ten designs at £13.00 each in its app. Pokemon Center UK sells a 10-pack at £93.99, which its listing showed as Sold Out on 6 October.

What is in the 30th Celebration Knock Out Collection?

Two 30th Celebration booster packs, a foil Eevee promo card and a coin, the same as the 2-Pack Blister. It turned up in Tesco Express, One Stop and Morrisons on 18 September, while Smyths expects its 2-Pack Blister on 2 October.

Will 30th Celebration be restocked?

Pokemon Center says it is not able to share whether 30th Celebration products will be restocked or when. Shops do not publish restock dates either, so an alert on the product page is the way to hear about one.

Is 30th Celebration the Pokemon 30th anniversary set?

Yes. Pokemon's UK site says the Pokemon TCG is celebrating 30 years with 30th Celebration, so it is the set people mean when they search for the Pokemon 30th anniversary set.

Is there a 30th Celebration booster box?

No. There is no booster box in the English lineup Pokemon has published, and single packs are not sold officially. The biggest pack count is the Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box with 11, which now ships in mid to late November. The Booster Bundle, with six packs, came out on 2 October.

What is the rarest card in 30th Celebration?

Officially, nobody can say, because Pokemon does not publish pull rates. The highest official rarity is Futuristic Rare, which only Mewtwo ex and Mew ex have. The three RGB Mew secret rares are expected to be rarer still, but Pokemon has not acknowledged them and no pull rate for them has been published.

What does RGB mean on the Mew cards?

Red, Green and Blue, the original Pokemon games. There are three Mew cards, one in each colour, numbered R/RGB, G/RGB and B/RGB instead of out of 128. PokeBeach reported them pulled from packs on 12 September 2026. They are not on the official card list.

How much is the 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box in the UK?

£49.99 RRP, set by Asmodee, the UK distributor. It has 9 packs and a Nidorina promo. The Pokemon Center version has 11 packs and two promos, and it has no distributor RRP because only Pokemon Center sells it.

Can you play Classic Collection cards in tournaments?

Not in the Standard format. Pokemon's June release says they are only legal in formats that allow the original prints of those cards.

Can you buy 30th Celebration at Argos?

Only in the Argos app. Argos said in May 2026 that no Pokemon cards would be sold in its stores, and on 6 October all 20 30th Celebration products on its site, wave 2 included, said Buy on the app.
