Apple doesn't email you when a refurbished Mac or iPad you want turns up on its UK store. Here's what the refurbished store promises, and how to get an alert the moment a new configuration is listed.
Apple doesn't send alerts for its refurbished store, so the only way to get an Apple refurbished stock alert is to watch the page yourself. The refurbished product pages we read on 28 September 2026 had an Add to Bag button and no way to ask to be told later. What does work is a monitor on the category page, say Apple's refurbished Mac page, which lists the configurations on sale with their prices. When a new one appears you get an alert with the link, which gives you a chance to get there before somebody else does. Apple's own pitch is "a one‑year warranty, full functional testing and savings up to 15%".
No. We read a refurbished 14-inch MacBook Pro's page on Apple's UK store on 28 September 2026: it had an Add to Bag button, a price and nothing to sign up to. The category pages (Mac, iPad, iPhone, Watch and the rest) just list what's on sale. RefurbAlert, a paid tracker built for this exact gap, puts it bluntly on its home page: "Apple doesn't offer stock notifications for refurb products."
RefurbAlert says it checks Apple's refurbished stores every 2 minutes, or every minute on its Pro plan at $9.99 for 3 months after a free month (its home page, checked 28 September 2026). It also claims popular specs "regularly sell out in under 5 minutes". That's their claim, not Apple's, and Apple publishes nothing on how fast stock goes. Even so, a check every half hour won't be much use for the popular ones.

For a sense of the maths, the refurbished store's front page on 28 September 2026 featured a refurbished 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M5 chip at £1,439, marked as down from £1,599, a saving of £160. That's 10%, so "up to 15%" is a ceiling and not what every listing gets. The same page had a refurbished iPhone 16 128GB at £659.
Put a monitor on the category page for the thing you want. The configurations Apple has on sale are listed there with their names and prices, so a new one showing up is the signal. You get a new product alert with the name, the price and a link to its page.

On Apple's UK store, go to Certified Refurbished and pick the narrowest one that fits: Mac, iPad, iPhone or Watch. Copy the address from your browser, for example apple.com/uk/shop/refurbished/mac.

The first check just records what's there. After that, a configuration that wasn't on the page before comes through as a new product alert.
We tested this on 28 September 2026. A universal monitor read Apple's refurbished Mac page and came back with all 26 configurations and their prices, and it read a single refurbished MacBook Pro page as £1,739 and in stock. You can if you already have its product page. A monitor on that page reads the price and whether it can be added to the bag, so if the price moves you get a price drop alert. What we haven't been able to see is what that page does after the configuration sells out, because Apple could just as easily send the old link back to the category. Until we have, the category page is the safer bet. It catches the configuration you want as soon as it's listed again, whatever Apple does with the old link.
