An invite-only email for some Pokemon Center newsletter subscribers in the UK, US and Canada. The criteria are secret, the link works once, and the stock can still run out before you use it.
Pokemon Center Early Access is an email invite that lets selected newsletter subscribers buy a popular item before everyone else. You cannot apply for it. Pokemon Center picks subscribers who "meet specific criteria", will not say what those criteria are, and only sends invites in the UK, the US and Canada. The link inside is yours alone and works once. It expires on a date printed in the email, and it does not promise the item is still there when you click. All of that is from Pokemon Center's own Early Access FAQ, last updated on 21 July 2026 and read on 15 September 2026.
Newsletter subscribers, and only some of them. The FAQ says customers "subscribed to the Pokémon Center newsletter and who meet specific criteria are eligible to be selected", then adds that "Pokémon Center does not share eligibility criteria". Even then, not every subscriber is eligible, meeting the criteria does not guarantee a chance, and one invite "does not guarantee future access".
You do not need a Pokemon Center account to be picked. You do need one to buy: the FAQ says you must log in or register "with the same email address from the invitation" before you check out. If you open the link while signed out, a message under the Add to Basket button asks you to sign in, and the offer stays valid while you do.
Signing up extra addresses will not help. Pokemon Center says that creating several subscriptions or using different email addresses "does not increase the likelihood of receiving an invitation" and can get the invitation voided, so subscribe one address, once.
Invites go to newsletter subscribers, so this is the step that matters. It follows Pokemon Center's newsletter help article. There is no text message alternative for UK collectors: Pokemon Center's SMS alerts are "currently only available to customers located in the United States".

Pokemon Center says its newsletters typically arrive there. It also says it is unable to resend newsletters.
If you are picked, you get an email with a unique link for "one or more items". If you are not, you get nothing, and the FAQ is clear that silence this time does not rule you out next time. Any item can be included, preorders too, and Pokemon Center support will not tell you which items are in the programme. Once you have the link, these are the rules.

In practice: open the email on the device you will pay on, sign in with the address the invite came to, and buy straight away. Pokemon Center itself says to use the invitation "sooner rather than later".
No, and Pokemon Center says so in as many words: "Early Access does not guarantee availability. Item quantities are limited and available while supplies last." An invite lets you in before the public. It does not hold an item for you.
Kanto Post reported that on Tuesday 14 July 2026 emails went to selected newsletter subscribers offering a Special Delivery Box at £52.99, with a deck box, two plushies, a plush keychain, a pin and an Elite Trainer Box. The invite ran until 20 July. According to posts Kanto Post quoted from Reddit, some people who were invited found it sold out 20 to 30 minutes after the emails landed, and others said five minutes. Those timings are buyers' reports rather than figures from Pokemon Center, but they match the FAQ's warning.
When the programme was announced, PokeBeach's write-up on 10 April 2026 quoted the FAQ in full. The rules it printed match the version on Pokemon Center's site today, so nothing about how invites work has been loosened since.
Wait for the general sale, and be ready for it. Early Access is for buying items "before they are more widely released", which implies the wider release follows. For a big launch Pokemon Center puts a virtual queue in front of the site. Its 30th Celebration TCG FAQ says to keep the queue window open and not refresh, to log in rather than check out as a guest, and warns that "items may go out of stock before you are able to complete your purchase".
Do not count on a second batch either. Pokemon Center's support team says it "does not have information on when or if out of stock items will be restocked", in its restock article. Nothing can tell you an invite is coming, because it goes to an inbox rather than appearing on a page. The general sale is different. When the queue goes up, our queue status page shows it, and the StockWatch Pokemon Center Drop Watchdog sends an email, browser push or Discord message the moment it goes live and again when it clears.
